A place to live and raise kids

For those we haven't already heard, Forbes recently named Des Moines, Iowa the No. 1 place to raise a family.

That's on top of Forbes naming (in April) Des Moines the No. 1 place for business and careers. Several other Iowa cities also ranked in Forbes' business and careers list:

• Best Small Places For Business And Careers (best smaller metros): Iowa City IA (#2), Waterloo IA (#13), Sioux City IA (#14), Dubuque IA (#15), and Ames IA (#17).
• Best Places For Business And Careers (best metros): Des Moines IA (#1) and Cedar Rapids IA (#13).

As someone who grew up in Iowa, it's great to see so many cities make it on these lists.
