In south Asia, American fashion do's are fashion don'ts
I've talked about fashion on this blog before (see: Europeans don't dress any better than Americans), so I'd like to address the issue again. One thing I've really noticed is that Americans HATE to dress up. They live for dressing down. This is evidenced by the number of people (mostly women!) you find in the grocery store in their pajamas or sweat pants and by the amount of clothes sold in the U.S. that are for "lounging around." Kind of leaves you dumbfounded.
