Ch-ch-ch-changes

I don't know if any of you noticed, but I recently took a couple of weeks off from writing new topics on this blog.

That's partly because my husband and I were traveling over the last couple of weeks and partly because before leaving on our trip, I intended to schedule some blog posts to publish while we were traveling...but mostly because things were just so crazy busy that I didn't get the time to do that.

To my loyal readers and followers (50+ of you, WOW!), thanks for sticking around (despite the lack of recent posts in my absence).

While traveling, I found some time to relax, which helped to clear my head. Even on vacation, though, my husband and I sometimes get into philosophical, business related, or otherwise weighty topics. One such topic that came up in conversation was this blog and its "branding." (Keep reading...I'll be getting to my point soon enough.)

The original intent of this blog was to describe topics like south Asian-American cultural differences, south Asian specific issues, and sometimes other random topics like fashion, shopping, family...and well, you get the idea. And while I did discuss some of those issues (among other things), I admit I seem to have strayed a bit, especially when it comes to talking about our travel adventures.

Soooo...you'll soon be seeing some changes around this blog. I'm hatching a plan to bring this blog closer to its original intended topics.

That also means that those pesky travel related topics are going to have to go somewhere. Which is why I'm planning to launch a separate blog where they should fit right in.

For those of you were who were enjoying hearing about my (our) travel adventures, stay tuned right here for the time being. I'll be giving more information and announcing the URL for my other travel related blog here soon, after which, I'm looking forward to telling you about our latest trip...to Australia!  It may take me a few weeks to reorient the two blog sites, so I hope you'll stick around in the meantime.
