Help make my friend Laura's iLatch invention a reality

These days, I'm more active on Twitter than in blogging.  Tweeting is 140 characters (or less!) and blogging requires a lot more time and energy.  For those of you not on Twitter, there's a hashtag called #FF (or #FollowFriday) where you're supposed to suggest someone cool/fun/useful to follow on Twitter.  Several times, I've done #FF for my Twitter friend Laura.

If you haven't heard me talk about her before, Laura writes on her blog, iGriza.  She's super down-to-earth and is full-on cray cray (that's crazy, to those of you not into slang) for all things Apple.  I'm talking iPhone, iPad, apps, whatevs.

I've been following Laura's blog for probably more than 1.5 years now, and a little over a year ago, she had a baby. And you guessed it -- her baby is also into Apple.  From what I understand, he loves to watch stuff on her iPad and iPhone.

Which brings me to the point of this post.

Laura has invented something called iLatch.  It's a doo-hickey that helps connect your iPad to other stuff (like a stroller) so your kid can watch iPad without you having to hold it.

If that looks and sounds like something you might be interested in, then I urge you to help fund (pledge) money toward her project: The iLatch Ipad Case for iPad 1 & 2 on Kickstarter.  Even just $1 earns her undying appreciation and larger donations get you something too!

If you've got a kid and an iPad, then you need this thing...but you can't get it until the Kickstarter project is fully funded!  So why not donate a dollar or 2 or 3 (or 100)?  And when you're done then, I hope you'll also help spread the word to others!

Disclaimer:  I earned nothing for writing this blog post or for promoting this product. (Actually, Laura doesn't even know I'm writing this.)  I'm just a big fan of doing nice things for others and helping people make their dreams come true.  (Cue: "awwww!")
