In the last several years, my husband and I have become big. time. foodies. But that doesn't mean we're food snobs.
On any given weekend, you can find us at any one of our old hole-in-the-wall haunts or some chic new eatery or coffee shop. But sometimes eating at home can be just as good as eating out.
Usually, when people think of California, they think of sunny days and hot temperatures. Other areas in California might feel that kind of weather, but because of being so close to the bay, we generally experience milder temperatures throughout the year in the area where we live. Even in June/July, sometimes it's not hot enough to even wear shorts. Two summers ago, we were wearing winter jackets in San Francisco -- in the middle of the day!
Still...the last couple of weeks have been unusually hot around here for this time of year.
Which means tonight was a perfect night to BBQ one of our old favorites: lamb chops!
My husband marinates these lamb chops with some kind of magic Shan masala spice mix. And they are...ah-mazing.
I hadabout a hundred 30 or so lamb chops already marinated and just waiting to be BBQ'd and eaten...so that's just what I did!
